If you are having difficulty paying your utility bill, the first call you make should be to the utility company. They often have customer assistance programs that can give you a few more days to make a payment, or spread a month’s bill over a longer period of time. Please do not wait until your bill is past due before contacting your utility, most utilities’ internal programs are not available once a bill has gone past due.
We do understand, though, that sometimes things happen unexpectedly and you don’t always know ahead of time that you will need help. That’s why we are here.
