Customers benefit by not having to resort to unsafe or illegal ways to replace their utility service, the utility benefits by receiving payments on accounts that might otherwise become uncollectible. And a reduction in call center activity and fewer disconnect/reconnect cycles is also a cost-savings measure for our participating utilities.
